On October 30, 2025, a festive event dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan was held at the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Aktau.

The event was attended by students of the Sh.Yesenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering, citizens of Turkmenistan living in the Mangistau region, and representatives of public.

In his speech Consul of Turkmenistan M. Abdullayev noted that Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality status, recognized three times by  the UN General Assembly, is a major achievement of the independent state and a symbol of its peaceful foreign policy. Over the past three decades, neutrality has become an integral part of national identity, contributing to strengthening of peace, stability, and good-neighborly relations.

The speakers noted the country’s significant achievements under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan in the political, economic, cultural, and social spheres. Particular attention was paid to Turkmenistan’s role in developing international cooperation and promoting the principles of peace and trust.

The event took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Guests were offered traditional Turkmen dishes, reflecting the rich traditions of hospitality.

The festive meeting was yet another confirmation of the unwavering commitment of the Turkmen people to strengthening the values of peace, trust, and good neighborliness between countries.
